Local Recognition

These two boxes are the result of a happy international collaboration between deviant snazzie-designz and me. Snazzie lives in the Irish republic and I in England. Much of the international co-operation was facilitated  through the medium of deviantart and  later by letter and parcel post over the Irish sea. I entered them in a local woodwork competition while Snazzie was staying over here when we were working on a second project. We were pleased at getting first and second prize once we had accepted the principle that one can't win two first prizes in the same competition
